2009/10 Property Tax Bill

Dear Incline Village & Crystal Bay Property Tax Protesters,

All Incline Village and Crystal Bay property owners should have received their 2009/10 tax bill in the mail earlier this week.  Because of this week’s SBOE decision rolling each and every residential property back to the 2002/03 level, these bills do not properly reflect the taxes due for the 2009/10 tax year.  Moreover, the Washoe County Treasurer owes you a refund for taxes unconstitutionally collected since 2006.  

When will the treasurer re-calculate and re-send the 2009/10 tax bills?   And when will he send out the refund checks to all 9,000 Incline Village and Crystal Bay residential property owners?   It should be soon, but one cannot predict.

Please continue to make your property tax payments under protest.  Click on the following link to download the protest letter form, print it out, fill it out and make your payments per the instructions.
