Dear Incline Village & Crystal Bay Property Owners,
 
We are painfully aware of the
glacial speed with which refunds are being issued. Therefore, today our
Attorney, Suellen Fulstone, filed a Status Conference Statement with Washoe
District Court Judge Adams. Our hearing is on February 24, 2012.
 
You will find the document
interesting reading to say the least!
 
The three points that we are
requesting the court to rule upon are:
 
1)    To establish deadlines for the
completion of the repayment process, including requiring the Treasurer’s Office
to calculate and pay amounts owed to homeowners on no fewer than 800 properties
per month. 
 
2)    Require the Treasurer’s Office to
process credits for homeowners against taxes currently owed when homeowners so
request.
 
3)    Request that the Court appoint a
third party to complete the process at the expense of the County.
 
We are still looking out for
you!!  We haven’t gone away.
