Dear Incline Village & Crystal Bay Property Owners,

Nearly 1000 (out of 9000) IV/CB residents due property tax refunds have successfully registered to update and validate contact information and receive an estimate of their refund amount; but most have not.   Refunds are due to all Incline Village or Crystal Bay residential property owners of record who had their assessments unlawfully increased in 2003.  The Court order covers taxpayers owning property for the period July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2006. 



The Court-ordered refund of excess property taxes is about to get underway.  We are now focused on the complex and lengthy task of supporting the refund process.  This multi-year initiative depends on accurate contact information.   Most residents due refunds have changed their mailing address and/or email address.   Remember, if the County has to pay for services to locate you, they will deduct that cost from your refund.  The Village League registration will update your contact information at the County, and will ensure you receive emails with information, guidelines, notices and instructions.


If you have already successfully registered online or via mail, GREAT!  Your information has been updated, and you will receive refund process updates and information from the League.

If you have not already registered, please follow these steps:

1. Go to

2. After you REGISTER, you will receive an ACTIVATION EMAIL. Click on the Link within it. 

3. When the SUCCESS message is displayed, CLICK on the BLUE WORDS to LOGIN.

4. Now to find your parcel: enter your Parcel ID (without dashes) and Last Name.

5. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SCREEN and CLICK confirm.

6. A new Screen is displayed: Click Yes and SUBMIT.

NOW YOUR REFUND AMOUNT IS DISPLAYED.

7. Print this screen and KEEP for your records.

We will ensure the County is informed of your registered contact information. 

Registration is only a first step; you will need to follow a claims process with the Washoe County Treasurer.  Registered parcel owners will receive important messages with directions and valuable information from us.
