Dear Incline Village & Crystal Bay Property Owners,

We have succeeded in correcting the property tax disaster and over taxation that occurred under previous Washoe County Assessor Bob McGowan.  Thankfully much has changed over the past 20 years.  Under the leadership of our current assessor, Mike Clark, Incline Village and Crystal Bay properties are fairly assessed and our community’s relationship with the assessor’s office is excellent.  The number of taxpayer petitions challenging assessments has dropped to 0.01%.  But Mike is leaving his position to pursue a role as a County Commissioner.

We must preserve our relationship with the assessor’s office and rest assured that the assessments upon which our property taxes are based are performed lawfully and fairly.

Our research tells us the Chris Sarman can do that job and best serves and protects the interests of Incline Village and Crystal Bay property owners.  He has the experience, credentials and perspectives we need.

Chris is committed to continuing our annual coordination meetings between the Village League and the assessor’s office.    He supports the lawful but conservative application of Nevada’s assessment regulations we now enjoy. 

Chris Sarman is endorsed by our current assessor, Mike Clark and is well-regarded within the assessor’s office where he has worked since 2008.
